We are big fans of all things crayola around here! I find that there is nothing better at de-stressing me than sitting down to a box of crayons and a blank sheet of paper and coloring along side of my kids. It is cathartic. Free therapy.
This week we are giving away a Crayola Beginnings Ta-doodles Ta-doodler.
Scribble, Sing, Shine and Then... Wipe It Off and Start Again! This snuggly little bear buddy becomes a palette for your kiddo's imagination. They can scribble away anywhere on the light up tummy or on the washable bear. The 3 crayon buddies can be stored right inside of the Ta-doodler.
To be entered in this giveaway, leave us a comment answering the following question:
Are you the kind of gal who enjoys coloring in a coloring book or on a clean, white piece of paper?
[this giveaway will be closed on Thursday, 2/12/09 @ 11 PM pacific time]

Congratulations to the winner of our super fab, and super green running shoes from Brooks:
Thank you and good luck to you all!

I'll admit it. I love coloring books. Coloring in the lines.... But I also like a nice blank slate once in a while....
ReplyDeleteColoring books, although it isn't as fun when four little hands are adding to the beauty of my picture. :)
ReplyDeleteWe received the tadoodles markers for our 22 month old for Christmas and I am not a big fan. They are super messy. I bet the crayons would be a lot better though, especially since my child likes to eat crayons...
definitely coloring books, i'm an inside the lines kinda girl.
ReplyDeleteI love a great coloring book....but I like the pictures to be BIG!

This is a hard question! I'm an art teacher, so my first thought would be a blank sheet of paper, but when I thought about it, I really like coloring books too. They're surprisingly relaxing, just filling in the sections.

ReplyDeleteAnd you're on my blogroll!
ReplyDeleteA blank sheet of paper by far! Although I do enjoy the coloring books, nothing beats the still silence of my 2 year old as she hovers over my "masterpeice" in total awe at mommy's creation'! AND, if the complete infatuation of my tiny sprout isn't enough, the excitement that radiates from her when I give her the picture is sure to do the trick!:)
ReplyDeleteYou're already on my blogroll!
ReplyDeleteI like the freedom that comes with a blank piece of paper, which is why I can only find like 2 coloring books in the whole house--and I think they both were gifts!
ReplyDeleteBoth, but I think I favor coloring books these days. They are delightfully mind-numbing!

I need some kind of structure, so I'm a coloring book kind of gal. :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely coloring books and coloring inside the lines. I also used to trace the front of books with tracing paper for hours and color those in.
ReplyDeleteColoring books...I'm no artist, blank sheets scare me...I do love to color me some Elmo, though!
ReplyDeleteYour on my link list!

I'm in the middle on this one. It depends on what the coloring book is. But I have to say I'm probably going to go with the nice blank piece of paper.
ReplyDeleteI'm all for the fresh white sheet of paper. The sky's the limit then.
ReplyDeleteOoohhh....hard call..I love a pretty picture in a coloring book but enjoy drawing as well on a crisp, white piece of paper. Hmmmm....I'll have to go with white paper if I have to choose. I've been wanting to try these little Tadoodles...they look fun!
ReplyDeleteI love coloring books!!!

If I am using just good old crayons, I'd say coloring book for sure. Especially if it is a brand new box.

ReplyDeleteI really like the coloring books, but my daughter would rather have a clean piece of paper to make her own masterpiece :-)

I'm the girl who colors the pictures in the coloring books and doodles all over it as well. Hearts, flowers and rainbows everywhere made the picture perfect. Oh, to be 6 again...
ReplyDeleteI'm a coloring book kind of gal. There's something about sitting back and admiring your perfectly in the lines masterpiece! :) m_huston(at)hotmail(dot)com

I would have to go with the plain white paper. I am always doodling and drawing when I'm on the phone.
ReplyDeletePlus my grandkids are always asking me to draw them a picture.

ReplyDeleteI'm a clean white paper gal.
ReplyDeleteI already have you in my blogroll...
I also like to stay inside the lines...
ReplyDeletefan of facebook :)
Yes, I'm doing my best to win this time!
I love coloring books. Does that make me a non-creative loser?
ReplyDeleteDepends on my mood. Sometimes to color inside the lines is perfect - I can space out and create with context already given. Sometimes the white sheet is perfect so that I can doodle away.
ReplyDeleteLove the giveaway.
I like a coloring book! You know, color the outside edges dark and fill the middle in lightly
ReplyDeleteI prefer a coloring Book. Thanks!
