Friday Giveaway: Green Toys Tea Set

We're all looking for great green toys. So it makes since that the best kept secret in green toys that speaks for itself with a no-nonsense name: Green Toys.

Why do we love this company?

  • all toys are made 100% in the USA (a few miles from my house, in fact!)
  • recycled milk containers are the main ingredient in Green Toys
  • free of BPA, products are made of high-density polyethylene (or HDPE). This material is considered one of the safest, cleanest plastics around
  • toys are packed in as little packaging as possible. no screwdriver or wirecuttes needed

pthalate free, lead free, toxin-free

Okay, so that's what the environmentally-
conscious mom will like. But how about the kids? My children adored the tea set. It was the perfect size for little hands. I loved the fact that I didn't need to worry if they put the cup to their mouth when they played, and that there was no concern these saucers would break if flung from the table.

Green Toy's current line-up includes a gardening set, a sand-toy set, a tea set, and a cookware set. Our only feedback for this company: WE WANT MORE!!

Green Toys is giving away one of their teasets to one lucky reader!

  18. I'm not opposed to facebook, but it's sad that you're only opening contests to certain crowds, not all of us want to be out there. I've unsubcsribed, so I won't be sent email updates that are no longer relevant because I'm not a member of facebook. - you shouldn't insult your regular subscribers that way.

  24. Green toys are really a great idea and I love that some companies have designed such stylish and healthy options for those of us wanting to go green : clean! I own chulamama : a modern maternity and baby store and we were really excited when the green toys came : since they have flown off the shelves and everyone loves them! If anyone wants to buy them : we do have them at chulamama : use coupon code 'mama manifesto' and get 10% off your entire order. www.chulamama.com

  25. And please don't put spaces between the coupon code. Just enter "mamamanifesto". Thank you!
