Fall Back & the Friday Giveaway: Family DVD Movie Pack

Is anyone else not super fond of "Falling Back"? You know, the time change? I think it is evil and mean. I think it should be abolished. It's a real shame too, because Fall is such a great season. The air is crisp, the leaves are changing, apple cider is yummy and it holds the gratitude-inducing holiday, Thanksgiving in the palm of its hand!

So, in honor of all the goodness of Fall (minus the horrible, mean time change), we have put together a giveaway package that is perfect for the Fall nights that beckon for a cozy family movie night!

Our giveaway this week is everything you need for the perfect family movie night. It's a gift pack with two great family DVD's, some hot cocoa, and our favorite microwave popcorn from Trader Joe's! The first movie is the latest feature from Wow Wow Wubbzy, a lovable cartoon character with a kooky crooked tail. Kids love Wubbzy's enthusiasm and relate to his healthy dose of curiosity. He always manages to have a lot of fun have while discovering the value of things like friendship, liking oneself, helping others, truthfulness, self-restraint, and taking responsibility for one's actions

The second movie is Roxy Hunter & The Myth of the Mermaid, about a young detective trying to solve the mystery of a woman who might not be what she seems. Roxy Hunter presents a great role model for tween audiences with her self-reliance, resourcefulness, and dedication to a cause.

To enter to win, leave a comment by 11pm Friday, November 14th, answering the following question:

What was your favorite movie to watch as a kid?

And now, for the four winners of the Eebee soft books:

((((((((((KarenK, Bianka, Shelby, and Ellen)))))))))

  2. I had many favorite movies to watch as a kid, but one of my absolute favs was "The Last Unicorn". It was whimsical and magical and honestly, I'm surprised my parents let me watch it because they were pretty strongly against magic, but they did let me watch it - over and over - and I loved it.

  12. I always loved Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory as a kid, I watched it over and over. Nowadays, however, I find it a little creepy. Particularly that dark, scary boat part, who thought that kids would like that?

    Thanks!

  17. I just had to write when I saw the Wubbzy picture (I have a 4 year old son that can sing all the songs - and I mean ALL the songs).

My favorite movie as a child was a tie between Benji and Ice Castles. Does that date me too much?
