I am learning the art of throwing caution to the wind and cooking without a recipe. Today, I found myself doing the five o'clock scramble. You know . . . when it's five o'clock and you realize you have no plans for dinner? I opened the fridge and found some chopped onions from making the Oprah Burger, some crushed tomatoes from making African Chicken Stew, a half-empty jar of crushed garlic, and about a cup of fresh spinach ready to go bad. I threw them together and made a pasta sauce and it turned out great! I must share.
