Friday Giveaway: Jacki Paper Valentine's cards

We are excited to be offering a Valentine's giveaway! Jacki Paper is a spunky line of greeting cards created by a stay-at-home mom of three. They make super fun cards that are nostalgic of childhood memories with fun messages in beautiful letterpress.  We fell in love with their slogan "kidhood recycled".

They are offset printed on 100% recycled paper with soy and vegetable-based inks, using only wind power in the printing process.   And with messages like "i had to pass out valentines to everyone, but this is the only one I meant" or "Okay, maybe you are the boss of me.  Happy Valentine's Day.", these are sure to brighten anyone's day.  We say, hip, hip, hooray for the eco-friendly cards that can only make you smile!  Jacki Paper has greeting cards for every occasion, so be sure to check out all the fun @ Jacki Paper!
(added bonus is that you will get to hear one of the sweetest songs ever!)

Jacki Paper will be offering one lucky reading a set of nostalgia-inspired valentines, just in time for the season! To enter, leave a comment and answer the following question:

  1. "sticks and stones may break my bones..." comes to mind ;)

    these are beautiful!

  2. We always sang "Cinderella dressed in yella went upstairs to kiss her fella made a mistake and kissed a snake how many doctors did it take? 1 2 3 4..." it was our favorite jumprope rhyme

  3. "I see London, I see France..."

I wouldn't necessarily call it my favorite kid jingle but the only one that comes to mind so early in the morning :-)

As for a true nursery rhyme, I had a thing for The Little Old Lady Who Lived in a Shoe... how in the world did she fit so many children in her shoe?

  4. I don't know that it's my favorite - but I remember. "Cinderalla, dressed in yella, went upstairs to kiss her fella...."

  5. I'm a little Dutch girl
    Dressed in blue.
    These are the things
    I like to do:
    Salute to the captain,
    Curtsey to the queen,
Turn all around like a submarine--- etc.

    Jumped rope to that rhyme.

  6. Knick, Knack patty whack, give the dog a bone....etc.

  7. "Miss Mary Mack, Mack, Mack,
All dressed in black, black, black,
    With silver buttons, buttons, buttons,
All down her back, back, back..."

All while jumping rope of course. :)

  8. "Ink a bink a bottle of ink. . . " I like it just because it is fun to say, like all rhymes. :)

  9. "bubblegum bubblegum in a dish, how many pieces do you wish?..."

    Among others already listed!

  10. The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout...

  11. Love it, want to marry it!!

  12. Jack and Jill went up the hill......

  13. the whole 'I am rubber and you're glue' thing.... GREAT comeback!!!

  14. For some reason, "Engine, Engine Number 9, Coming down Chicago line, if the train goes off the track, will I get my money back," is sticking in my head right now. So weird. Cool cards.

  15. One that pops in my head is "liar, liar pants on fire, hanging from a telephone wire".

  16. those cards are adorable! we used to always sing

" I went to a Chinese restaurant to buy a loaf of bread, bread, bread.
They asked me what my name was, and this is what I said said said.
My name is e-i-e-i, Nick-a-Nie, Nick-a-Nie, Pom-Pom-Poodle, Willy Wally Wisky
My name is chief, roast beef, Ei-Ei-Ei-Ei-HOW!"

I promise I didn't just make that up.

  17. I think we sort of made it up, but my best friend and I always sang "Oh me, oh my, I wanna piece of pie. It tastes so good, like I knew it would!" It still comes out every now and then....

  18. 'Ring around the rosy,' and k-i-s-s-i-n-g!

  19. Rain Rain go away, come again another day!
